Year 8 student Callum Green has be offered a once in a life time opportunity through the Case Space Academy to participate in the Junior Space School Program in December this year.

Sixteen students from Australia and New Zealand were lucky enough to be offered this opportunity. On December 9, Callum will meet the other participants in Sydney and fly to Huntsville, Alabama, from here they will travel to NASA for 5-7 days then onto Houston, Texas for another 5-7 days.

Whilst in the program Callum will participate in Astronaut training, flight simulation training, team leadership, working in a real science lab, meeting Astronauts and engineers from NASA in person, building and launching multi-stage hobby rockets and many more exciting cultural activities.

Concluding the camp Callum will receive a certificate from NASA and CASE Space Academy.

We wish Callum all the best and look forward to hearing about his trip when he returns to school in 2023.
