Congratulations to Proserpine State High School's Science and Engineering team who were awarded 1st place at this year's regional Opti-Minds competition. The team, consisting of Liam Stuchbree, Riley Stuchbree, Sam Rogers and Mac Rogers, presented their challenge virtually to a panel of judges. The challenge required them to design and make a device which combined a number of different objects and techniques to function and perform an exciting celebration of 'Belonging'. As well as their Science/Engineering skills, the team also demonstrated their creativity in the Arts through creating costumes and acting out their solution. The team showed great determination, creativity and ingenuity as they worked collaboratively on their challenge together. The team will compete in the Finals in October. Congratulations Riley, Liam, Sam and Mac!
