Windows 11 Set-up & Preboarding

Once you unbox your laptop and turn it on, you will be prompted with the initial Windows 11 setup.

Please follow these rules during installation:

Set up Windows with a personal email account, not your child's school EQ account.
Use a password that is 8 characters or longer otherwise you will be forced to set a new password after onboarding.
Its recommended that the personal account you use to sign in is a parents account to prevent loss of access to the computer if a password is forgotten. If you do this, you will need to make a second account for the student with their own personal account.
